When you get the brackets removed, it will be mostly painless. Your front teeth may be a little sensitive to the removal, and it might hurt a little when they grind off the leftover cement, but it won't be too bad.
When they take of braces brackets, they bend the bracket a bit, making the cement break. So if you hear cracking, it isn't your teeth!
After your braces come off, you'll need retainers, which are simply molded pieces of plastic with metal wires to help hold them in. They hold on your teeth very tight, so at first they might make your jaw hurt. Take some painkiller and this should go away. They might also make you talk a little funny at first. Eventually you will get used to having them.
Make sure to wear your retainers! If you don't, your teeth can shift and then you can end up back at square one, having to get braces all over again.

Then you can choose your color for your braces 1 time every month. But if you put your braces like when you are 17 it hurts more so I recommend you to do your braces as soon as possibleI took out my braces already. =]
