Well, you'd have to first know whether the rejection was due to weight and not simply incompatibility. If he broke up with you for reason besides your looks, your weight loss probably won't change his mind. But if you're interested in losing weight, do it for no one other than you. It's a healthy choice to lose it for your health, not to impress somebody. I'm sure if later on he saw you in a different way, he might change his mind. You are just not his type is all. There are people out there who will love you for who you are, and not how you look.
