yes, at 17 you can leave without your parents being able to do anything in South Carolina. unless you're on probation or have some other reason you wouldn't be able to. and the great part about that is, until your 18 your parents can't refuse to let you back in the house! soo, if stuff doesn't work out then you can go back there until you're 18...unless they emancipated you...which would really suck cuz then you'd be stuck. lol. good luck!
