HGH has to be tested for in blood. it is a massive molecule that won't pass through your kidneys. The Olympics test for it (the Olympics test for everything including coffee), but there's a big debate about it in Baseball. Apparently half of Major League Baseball is on it. The owners want to test for it, but the players' union won't let them draw blood for testing.
As far as a regular drug screen goes...no. They don't usually test for steroids either.

If the first half was tested on a dipstick test and you KNOW you haven't been doing drugs--say, you're taking naproxen sodium for knee pain and you come up positive for marijuana (naproxen cross-reacts with the THC test), testing the split sample with GC/MS should clear you. OTOH, if you smoke weed and your first sample came up positive on GC/MS, assume the split sample will also be positive.
