Yes, but with new bankruptcy laws having been implemented it may prove somewhat difficult. The involved parties will need to prove to the trustee/court that they are unable to meet the obligation. More than likely the trustee will suggest the "13" be modified rather than dismissed. If the BK is dismissed the debtor loses all BK protection and creditors may pursue collection, repossession and lawsuits as the so choose.
Worse, the British did not pay (I think) any thought to it and just dismissed it and mad them even more mad.

No, it will probably hurt your credit. The Chapter 13 is on your credit report for 7 years from the date the Order for Relief is entered, which is the day the case is filed. So, even if you dismiss it the credit hit from the 13 has already appeared on your credit (a 75 to 150 point drop). And, if you dismiss it, then all the creditors included in it suddenly come back to life and would start billing you, making your debt to income ratio worse. And, if you fail to pay them, then the late payments would make your credit even lower. Once a 13 is filed, it's best - creditwise - to finish it.
there is no difference

Its like at the end of chapter 3 when he says something about "I didnt think things could get worse then this, but i was wrong". Not sure of the exact quote but you can look at the very last page of chapter 3
Will likely be dismissed before even any hearing. The one turning over the wages must do so because they have received legal notice they arr required to..or face substantial penalties and even contempt of court legal actions. If you have an actual argument as to why you don't owe the debt, that should have been made before the court judgment requiring a garishment. Now, you probably can make the argument, and if it is successful stop the garnishment and get the $ returned, but your position is even worse than before. By the way..no if you ignore it t doesn't go away, and it actually can get worse from here!
There is no way for you to fix them and you could potentially make things worse and/or harm yourself. Leave the dentistry up to the dentist!

Federal income tax returns need to be filed by April 15. Most state tax returns also need to be filed by April 15 with a few exceptions. If you have not yet filed your tax return for 2008 or an earlier years, just do it now even though it's late. If any penalty applies, it will only get worse the longer you wait.
