it depends on her outlook. she either might be playing 'hard-to-get' or just might not be interested. try asking a different girl out in front of this one to see if she gets jealous.
plus, some girls might want to save face or make you lose yours. be sure that if this happens again that you act totally fine and discuss a different topic together or something.
