A fruit salad. The mom is like the bowl, very protective and holds the family together. It can be very protective but when dropped breakable. The Dad can be the apple. Bitter-sweet. Sometimes he can be bittter (mean) and sometimes can be sweet (nice). The brother/sister can be a banana because it bruises easily and when not ripe (upset) can be very hard inside (mean). But when it is ripe, it is mushy inside and nice.

Hope this helps!
