it doesnt matter how much you weigh. it matters how flexible you are. start doing streches every day and get your body used to flexing and you should be able to do one soon! Dont worry about weight
i s-disagree !! you should just stretch your legs for a long time and try to do the splits. Continue this for 3-4 weeks then you will probily be able to do them :)

No, you do not have to know how to do the splits before you can straddle. People are different where some can do straddles before splits. It all depends on the body type and hips. For both splits and straddles though, it does help to have more flexible hamstrings. By working your hamstring flexibility, both your splits and straddles will improve.

Well first before you do anything you must stretch. Do stretches such as pointing your feet, circle your legs in a butterfly motion, stretch your calf's and thighs. Then try to do the splits as far as you can go and hold for a couple of minutes ( make sure you point your toes. ) now do these stretches every day and and you should become more flexible and will be able to do the splits!
