Yes, most people, including many hairstylists say that it takes roughly 6 weeks for your hair to regain it's natural oils which clean your hair. Shampoo damages your hair and removes the natural oils, that's why you have to use conditioner. If you don't shampoo your hair it will 'condition' itself.
