The fact that your body is made of about 70% or thereabouts of water shows that we need to replace it constantly during the day to keep it at a healthy level for our body . We perspire around 2 litres a day, therefore we need to drink AT LEAST 2 liters (or 8 glasses) a day just to replace it so that our bodies can function normally!
