It usually doesn't matter to the insurance company, you pay your premiums so you can get the check from them, if you dont fix your car it makes no difference to them, you may just be without a working vehicle.
I disagree with the above...reason being the motor insurance contract is a contract of indemnity. Unless you declare it a total loss, one needs to get the car repaired. The insurers usually do not settle a claim without repairs being done and if they have pre-authorised repairs and given some advance, then in the normal course it would be considered as fraud as the obligation to make the car back to original state is not accomplished.....
No, if you file another claim on it then it might be.
no you dont. if you do not with to file a claim you do not have to report it no you dont. if you do not with to file a claim you do not have to report it

I dont know what fraud is in latin but I know that "mendax" means liar. I dont know if that helps?
You don't need to have insurance to collect on an insurance policy. Just call their claims department and they will get it started. The only issue is that in some states, such as New York, insurance is mandatory in order to register an automobile and be able to drive it. If you are in such a state, and you file a claim for an accident in which you did not have insurance, you could well be charged for driving without insurance and you would probably lose your license.
i dont think so
