it entirely depends on your portion sizes so... if you had 30g bowl of non-sugary , fibre rich cereal with 200ml of skimmed milk, a 200g jacket with half a small tin of tuna or reduced fat cheese the size of a matchbox, 100g of chicken with a reasonable portion of non-starchy veggies... you would lose weight... however how much weight would also obviously depend on how much you weigh in the first place. The food listed above would amount to under 1000 calories. Recommended daily calorie intake is 2000 for women and 2500 for men. Reducing your calorie intake by approx 3000 calories a week would lead to an average of 1 1/2 to 2lb weight loss.
There's no telling. Lots of things can be hiding in a salad sandwich, and pasta can be just about anything in terms of nutrition as well. Water is a good choice, gets you away from sodas and juices that are likely to be high in sugar. Apart from that it's really as much about how much you eat as what you eat. I'd recommend that you get yourself a calorie chart and a set of scales. That will tell you rather well how many calories you're actually eating. Otherwise it's perfectly possible to overeat even on the healthiest choices.
