no you aren't cuz "feeling emo" isn't a feeling.
Emo is just a fashion. Its not an emotion, even though emo is short for emotional, its just a steriotype in todays society.
If you are not emo but you feel depressed it is the same thing as saying... "i'm not a tree, but i like leaves" See you dont have to be a tree to like leaves, so you don't need to be emo to be depressed!!!

No. Emos are a youth subculture with a specific style of dress and music. They are not all suicidal or depressed, nor is everyone who is suicidal or depressed an emo. The two things getting muddled are causing a significant problem because people who are genuinely depressed may not confess because they do not want to get labelled emo.
