As you leave the main airport hall, you will see taxis that belong to a company that is regulated by the airport -- they are very reliable. A special service is in operation for those going to Jerusalem; "Nesher" ("Eagle," in Hebrew) has mini-vans that will take you right to your doorstep. This option is much cheaper than a taxi (about 50 shekels), although it takes longer -- you never know if you will be the first or the last to be taken home. In addition, you can go by train. The train station is located within a walking distance of the airport. A train will take you to a central point in Tel Aviv in less than 15 minutes. The train runs throughout the night, at least once an hour.
