Anything physical is certainly abusive and you should't put up with it, as it will only get worse. Men who abuse women, no matter what, have problems and need help. If they don't go and get that help, then you leave as your life could be in danger. If today he pins you to the floor, what's next a slap in the face or worse? It's your life to do with as you want, but if I were a woman, I'd dump this abusive man.
