Simply put, you usually won't. Medicaid is usually doled out through community programs, such as your Area Agency on Aging. Our company is in California, so I am not sure of the laws in MI but your best bet is to contact your local Agency on Aging for starters. They may be able to direct you to the organization that provides caregivers on either a sliding scale or for free depending on eligibility. Not being from your state, I am not sure if that exists, but you can give that a try.
