Difficult to tell without much more information. What is your age? What was your 'intent'? Did you admit to it? Etc? MY OPINION: if you have an absolutely clean record - in exchange for a guilty plea the chances are probably favorable that you'll receive probation. If you fight the charge - I'd say that jail time might be the consequence. DO NOT TAKE THIS ANSWER AS LEGAL ADVICE! It is simply a theoretical answer in response to a theoretical question.
