yea you should, i have two cowlicks in the front, and i have side bangs. tell your hairdresser you have them and they can work with them. But keep them a bit longer for sidebangs and not short ones. But to style them.. be patient and your going to have to work them with a hairdryer and round brush. Pull gently at the roots and give the roots volume so your cowlick isn't going wacko.
hope i helped :)
**remember**
if you have a cowlick, your side bangs will be naturally a little puffed out from the roots on out.
Your cowlick makes your bangs stick up instead of lay down.
Do not let your bangs air dry. Blow dry them holding the blow dryer straight down over the roots of your hair as you brush the bangs straight down. If they dry correctly, they will likely stay that way until you sleep in them or get them wet again. Make sure your stylist knows about your cowlick, show her the cowlick before she starts to wash your hair, in case she can suggest a style of side bangs that will be easier to maintain.
If you get a haircut with bangs, the part of your bangs with a cowlick will stick up or stick out if allowed to air dry. The easiest way to prevent this is to never let your bangs air dry, blow dry your bangs holding the dryer straight down. You can also get a variation on bangs, such as side swept or long parted bangs, which might be more forgiving if you cannot blow dry your bangs every morning.
If you want to make your side bangs seem shorter, without cutting them, you can blow dry the roots up. Angle the blow dryer up at the roots as you brush the bangs upward. This will require extra styling time, you will likely need a curling iron to redirect the bangs downward again without losing that volume at the roots.
I suggest you do them yourself because most hairdresser mess up side bangs. The only way I would get mine done from a hairdresser is if she or he has side bangs and then you just tell them I want your bangs! lmao
i recommend the side bangs if your hair is curly you shouget them swept because they (depending on how curly the hair is only make it look bad unless youre willing to straighten then i would do the side bangs
I have a secret to doing this. After you shower, take your bangs and put them on the opposite side of your head then they usually are. Secure with a clip. Wait for your hair to dry, then switch the side of your bangs. they should be swooping. You can always fix it with a straightener.
Side bangs are!
go to a salon and tell them you want side swept bangs
They have to grow out and then you brush them to one side.

I'm a 13 year old girl and i have straight bangs. Side bangs or just straight across bangs look good. That's just my opinion.
