First off what does this have to do with being single? You seem to be having the opposite issue. As for your problem, well that's a little more complicated, but how you put it. Your girlfriend doesn't love you. Your close friend does.

So you need to analyze your two options, dump your girlfriend and date your close friend or keep your girlfriend and say so to your friend. Don't rush the decision, but dragging along your friend is very painful to both parties.
