No real value beyond face unless proof. Some value added to 76 for obvious reasons.
That's just a state quarter. 1788 is the year New York became a state, and 2001 is when the coin was minted. If it's gold, then someone gold-plated a regular quarter. It doesn't add any value for a collector, as it's now more of a novelty or souvenir. It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay.
A quarter never had 25 cents worth of copper in it. Quarters used to be made of roughly 25 cents worth of silver, but are now made of mostly copper due to cost reasons. The fact remains that a quarter is still worth 25 cents, and if you should so wish you could go and buy 25 cents worth of copper with it (a little more than two ounces of copper). Sorry I ment to say a quarter used to have 25 cents worth of silver in it now it has 2 cents worth of copper are you getting ripped off? I will reenter the question. Thanks.
it was worth $36,944.43
The Worth is $ 2.00
900
about 10 dollars now
25 to 28 cents depending on condition
25 cents
probably about $6.50 now
probably about $6.50 now
If by "series D," you mean it has a D mint mark, it's still worth 25 cents.
The 1967 quarter has a bobcat on it, not a cougar. So many were issued that unless it's in uncirculated condition, it isn't worth much more than face value. An uncirculated quarter sells for about $7
It's worth a quarter because we trust the economy and believe it to be a quarter. Although the physical value is not worth a quarter, it's still worth a quarter. So no you're not getting ripped off.
It's a common circulation coin worth face value only.
Right now, it's worth around $3.00.
Unfortunately, it was given to me as an American Quarter by mistake....but since it is foreign,....I am keeping it as if it were worth more than that. Locked away now...
25 cents. That year can still be found in circulation. Maybe somebody will buy for 50 cents.
