Traditionally, the bloodline or "we have the same DNA" cousins only go up to second cousins. Therefore your not blood related to your third cousin so there should be nothing wrong with it. Your family will most likely not dissown you. however this may change if your really close nit family, ie: you and your third cousin grew up together saw each other everyday and pretty much were like brother and sister. If this is the situation then maybe they'll be upset for a little while. however they shouldn't dissown you as in these kind of familys are close knitted together and will see that you two are happy together. There will be people in the family who think their superior to everyone else who will dissapprove and look at you funny, but seriously, nobody cares what those people think. i say tell them because theres nothing wrong with it
