Yes, unless your insurance contract specifies that you would not. When you advise the insurance rep what deductable you want, you are basically saying, "if i get into an accident, this is the amount that I am agreeing to pay as my share of the cost of repairs". keep in mind, you would also need comprehensive insurance on your policy in order for the insurance company to cover the damages to your veh. in the event you hit a deer.
