The pill may be causing the two periods a month. talk to your doctor and see if you can switch to a differant kind.

Yes. I was on Depo for approximately 10 years with NO period and then to the pill for about a year with controlled periods. I have since stopped taking ANY type of birth control and have had long 2 week periods and even two full periods a month. It will eventually regulate if not ask Dr. about Provera.

I'd recommend only taking it out for brief periods of time. Like only a couple hours. Even though piercings are healed, they can still close up without jewelry in them.

You should have started taking your pills the sunday or so after your period started. Just follow it by day, not month, after that. Example: Say you were taking your pills through the end of this month (July 2012) which ends on a Tuesday. Even though the calendar month has ended, there should still be the rest of the week's worth of pills on your pill container. Simply follow them through to the end, as opposed to starting on Wednesday of next month's dose.
