Absolutely not. Sure cuts a lot is a separate program. you will want to download the free version of inkscape to extend the ability of sure cuts a lot.
Sure cuts a lot will cut any scut file or svg file.
If you learn how to use inkscape you can create unlimited files to cut on your cricut.
Design studio is provo craft. Sure Cuts A Lot is completely independent of provo craft.
I use the sure cuts a lot software 90% of the time to cut files on the cricut.
