The car would be retitled as reconstructed using the vin on the frame.

or as long as you have not changed the frame or removed the original motor and parts that have vins on it, it is just a car being worked on and you would use that cars title and vin#.

We've bought plenty of car parts from other cars and never changed a title of the car being built and worked on.

How much is a salvaged car worth?

How much was the car worth before it was damaged? These are not reasonable questions. How much the car is worth totalled depends on what kind of vehicle it is, how old the vehicle is, how much damage is done, what parts are salvageable, is the engine still good, how many miles are on it, and lots of other factors might come into figuring the value of the damaged vehicle. There is no single number that allows you to say a totalled vehicle is worth $100 or $1000 or $10,000. I hope you understand my meaning and also take it that I'm not being condescending in telling you this.

What is a restored salvage title?

it just means that said vehicle has been damaged and an insurance company has considered it to be damaged beyond its value. if it is a "rebuilt" salvage title then it can be used as any other vehicle on the road, it just may effect the cost of insurance.

Does liability insurance get you money for a car if your car is totaled?

The other parties liability should if it was their fault. Your liability should cover the vehicle you damaged.

Can you be reimbursed for damage to a vehicle with a salvage title if the other party is at falt?

Yes; why on earth would you think otherwise? The "salvage" title only means that it is a reconstructed, or rebuilt vehicle which has probably been heavily damaged and repaired. It is STILL your property, and in this respect, a title, is a title, is a title -- "salvage" has nothing to do with whether or not you own the property (vehicle). If some one else damages it, then they have damaged YOUR property.

How to fix instrument brightness control if it does not work?

If the instrument lights come on but the brightness isn't working you probably have a damaged light switch. They usually aren't too expensive, but on the other hand it depends on the vehicle and the parts distributor. Also if the brightness is controlled by a switch other than the headlight switch, then this rheostat may be bad and need replacing.
