Not necessarily. Would depend on the situation. Did anyone see you hit it?
You should stop irregardless: you just hit a poor innocent animal with your car!! Stop and render whatever aid you can. Call a vet, or take the dog to one yourself. Have you no conscience at all?
If you hit an unleashed dog that runs infront of your car while driving the speed limit, what is your legal responsibility?
This is not a question. Dog hit by car. Not good for dog.
This is sort of an odd question! Not sure how your dog can get hit by a car when you are not home? First of all your dog should not be in the position to get hit by a car! He should be behind a locked, tall, gate or in the house. If he jumps fences and gets out you MUST keep him inside until you can get a fence high enough that he cant jump. The solution is to keep him in the house no matter or big or small he is...he must be safe! If he jumps fences you must work with him not to. Tie balloons on the fence and when he jumps they will pop and scare him...or if you are out there with him and he starts to jump throw water on him to scare him. Or you can put something in front of the fence so he cant get near it. If he does get out all you can hope for is that a neighbor sees him or the person that hits him would stop and help him! Please dont put your dog in that horrible position!
you are, because you hit him/her from behind, you must ALWAYS leave enough room between the car in front of you and yourself.
If your dog has been hit by a car you should take the dog in to your veterinarian for a full exam to make sure there are no hidden injuries.
yes
to make you dog stop barking at cars you should hit them .if you love your dog so much and you cant hit him you should get a shock thing.
only if you hit them in the eye
If the dog is on the road when you hit it, it's the dogs owner fault (the dog should bave been restrained).
Maybe you hit the brakes by accident?
hit the brakes....
