Wow. There isn't much you can do. It would be cheaper to just by an alarm. I don't believe it is possible to change your ignition, and if you could, I would believe that to be VERY expensive.

It's not cheap, approx. $30 to $100, I can't remember exactly, i know that's a wide range but it's in there somewhere. A cheaper way to go is to get an ignition w/key from the wreckers and just change the ignition out and voila you have a new key! Worst case scenario you can do like the delinquents and jam a flat-head in the ignition and use this as your new key. (not recommended)
