You can (and should) try...but you actually have no absolute right to it.
You should file claims wit th BK court and make sure you are known as a creditor. The credit/debit card company may help....they may be able to reverse the transaction in the system...but as it is a debit card and they have little at risk...or to gain...(and really no right to do so) they may not be interested in doing so. Many places (like American Freight Furniture, for example) allow you to take your purchase home the same day. It's best to avoid waiting for furniture, especially in these unstable times. These places often offer same day delivery as well.
