most likely not. v-10 keep this in mind. city driving is the worst on this engine. 2 more cylinders sucking fuel all the time. highway driving should be ok though depending on how long. this engine was fords cheep way of giveing the person that wanted engine power for pulling or pto without the price of the diesel.
Google Jet-Chip that is all I have found so far.
yes, but they require that you only run Premium fuel. The savings on mileage is offset by the extra cost of the fuel, and its not worth it.
Yes it would, but it will also be dumping more fuel in the engine causing worse gas mileage. You decide.

The dealer will only program the computer to the manufacturer's specifications. You may, however, be able to buy an after-market chip for your vehicle/engine that is optimized for better milage, many improve performance as well. A search on Google or similar will show many vendors of such chips.
Depends. You can customize your tuning on the chip to improve your gas mileage and decrease performance and vice versa. so it all depends on how you want to customize it. some chips come with software pre-equipped with different tuning levels. one for improved mileage, one for performance and one in the middle.
Unless it's an all-out racing chip, which I doubt, I would think your driving habits would affect gas mileage much more than just changing the ECM chip.
Yes it can, depending on your driving habits.
