Changing your spark plugs could theoretically make your car faster but not enough to make a noticeable difference. Changing your spark plugs when they are worn will increase your fuel mileage slightly.

Check your spark plug connections and spark plugs. If necessary, replace them.
To change the spark plugs on a Maruti Alto, first, make sure the car is turned off and parked safely. Find the spark plugs at the end of the rubber-like wires in the engine. Remove the wire from the spark plus, remove the old spark plugs, and put in the new ones, and replace the wires.
Check/replace the spark plugs and wires. If you're not going to replace the plugs make sure the gap is correct (should be either .040 or .060) and make sure the plugs are clean of oil or gas. If it still backfires after you replace the plugs/wires check the distributor and the timing.

remove the driver side front tire and the spark plugs are visible and reachable. Take them off and replace them one at a time, to make certain that the wiring harness is put back on correctly.
Get a tune up. Replace cap and rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and make sure the wires are in the correct firing order.
it is hard to say without seeing the vehicle but check the coolant. make sure its not contaminated. (it should be nice bright green) if you replace the spark plugs make sure you replace them with plugs with the right heat range. also listen to the way your transmission is shifting make sure that is not slipping.
Old spark plugs can make a car misfire, run rough, and not fire at all.
Very easy. Jack up the car on the left side and the park plugs are an easy access on the left side of the motor. Unplug the spark plug wires (make sure not to mix them up when reconnecting). Use a spark plug socket to remove them and replace them.
