Skipping your lithium would be really dumb. We don't recommend it. Why don't you ask the Doctor Who prescribed it? Could it be that you already know the answer, and are just fishing for someone to support what you want to do anyway? You won't find that support here.
This is really sound advice. I have taken lithium for 15 years, and I can tell you that what you are talking about is absolute nuts. It is one thing to forget your lithium, but to deliberately not take it will also mean your lithium levels will drop, which you don't want to happen. The golden rule is, alcohol in strict moderation. Please take your lithium and keep well, as I have for years.
