all eggs have an incubation time, these times vary for different species. You can not rush this time. The eggs will hatch when they are ready and the parents will know

You actually need 2 words. The number 12 equals "a dozen" or "one dozen".She bought one dozen eggs (which comes in a package of 12)The man owned a dozen television sets but only two worked. The teacher bought three dozen pencils and notebooks to hand out to his students. The little girl asked if one hen lays a dozen eggs all at the same time. it takes 12 eggs to make a dozen A dozen eggs is the same as twelve eggs. If you have 12 eggs you formaly have a dozen. It takes 24 eggs to make a dozen two-egg omlettes. Depending on your recipe, it may take anywhere from 4 to 12 eggs to make a dozen glasses of eggnog.
Oh, dude, seriously? A dozen is 12, always has been, always will be. So, if you have 78 eggs, you just divide 78 by 12, and you get like 6 and some change. So, yeah, you've got 6 dozens of eggs and a little extra. Congrats, you can count!
A dozen large chicken eggs should cost about $1.00 in a typical US supermarket. <<< A dollar?? This is obviously an old answer. A dozen eggs in the US, in Northern New York State in 2012 run s about $1.60 and up. It all depends on where you shop. I just paid $1.56 last week in a store named "Price Rite" but they've gone up a few cents since then. You have to shop around to stretch your money.
Eggs, like all products, have different prices depending upon where you buy them. There are also a number of different kinds of eggs, and prices vary depending upon whether you are buying small, medium, large, or extra large eggs, brown eggs or white eggs, regular eggs or emega 3 fatty acid enriched eggs. But let us say you are buying the most usual kind of eggs (large, white, and not the enriched kind) in Toronto, Canada. They will cost around $2.40 per dozen.
A wonderful dessert I use is Deviled Eggs. All you really do (this is a rough explanation, not a recipe and I am missing many important ingredients.) is boil some eggs, peel the white, cut the eggs in half (where they are longer makes it easier to eat.), and put the yolk in a bowl, where you mix with other ingredients. Then take the yolk mix, and put in back in the eggs, and sprinkle paprika on your deviled eggs! Enjoy!
Each chicken takes a day and a half to lay one egg. So in 24 days each chicken can lay 2/3 of 24 = 16 eggs. There are 24 chicken so, in all, 24*16 = 384 eggs can be laid.
Term dates back to 13th century when there were severe penalties for shorting customers imposed by Henry III so bakers added an extra
A dozen is equal to 12. Therefore, 24 dozen is equal to 24 x 12 = 288.
