Quickest way - locate the fuse box on bottom right side of dash on driver side. On the fuse box cover, look for the word "Horn" and remember it's relative position on the cover. Take the cover off, pulling it out and down, starting at the top. On the inside of the fuse box cover is a little white fuse puller(it helps you pull out the fuse). Take it out, locate the 15 amp Horn fuse, and using the fuse puller, pull the fuse out. There are different reasons why this may have happened, but a very common one is that the Horn switch inside the airbag compartment is worn out. Many mechanics say they must replace the whole Airbag - Horn Module(airbag + horn switch) even though the airbag is still good. The cost of the Airbag - Horn Module is $450.00 - $600.00 depending on where your mechanic buys it and his mark-up on the price. Then you can add the labor. It takes about 20 mins. so you should be charged for a half hour only max for labor. My neighbor has this problem and the dealer wants to charge her $1000.00 to fix it. I saw the following article online. This guy had the same problem and fixed it for the following; some time at the salvage yard looking for the same Horn Switch from another damaged vehicle(you can probably find the Horn Switch online), $5.00 to pay for Horn Switch part, and 20 mins. to install Horn Switch part If you are a bit of a mechanic, or you know one, here is a link to go further and fix the problem or have it fixed.
