More than likely you would not get pregnant 3 days before you period is due. Most women ovulate 7 to 14 days after their cycle ends. If you are not sure and are trying to get pregnant you discuss this with your doctor because they will help you understand everything and help you if you need it.

∙ 14y agoYou need to take another test ASAP as you may in fact not be pregnant. You could have experienced what's called a "chemical pregnancy", meaning you've essentially had an extremely early miscarriage. Had you not tested when you did, you probably would not have ever known. It's more likely to get a false negative than a false positive, so retest.

∙ 14y agoIt is possible; take another pregnancy test to be sure. If you get another positive, schedule and appointment with your OB/GYN and also immediately discontinue any bad habits (drugs, alcohol, extreme junk/fast food, etc.)and start taking Folic Acid.
