You phone locking has nothing to do with your Google account.
I want to make sure I answer this question, after talking to tmobile, because there is sites that want to charge 40 bucks for unlocking your phone and I called T-Mobile asking if they would unlock the T-Mobile phone for use with boost Mobile and they said no problem. It takes about 24 hours and they email you the unlock code with instructions on how to do it. I guess it would be worth the money if you still had a contact or something but other then that... It's free!

M2M in your boost mobile bill it means the emails received and sent through cellphone.
No, it will give an error message asking for the unlock code. Once you get that error, you screwed up the sim and it will not work in either phone again and it locks up your phone and it cannot be unlocked. Nextel does not have the unlock code, Motorola made the phones that way.
wanted to change my boost mobile phone number

HTC G1 phone would not work on Boost Mobile even if you unlock it. It's a GSM phone, while Boost Mobile operates on iDen technology. Both GSM and iDen are not compatible with each other as they operate on different band or frequency. You can only use the unlocked G1 phone on other GSM carriers worldwide.
