when taking a test you should follow the guidelines correctly as this could make the test give false readings if you think that you may have done this wrong as you should hold the test usually in your urine for so many seconds it depends which test you use. then you should take another test.
Answeryes it happed to me and i had coloured lines coming from every where but there is a 50/50 chance it can still work as mine gave me the same answer as the others i did
