No, hydrocodone will just make you sleepy. If, however, you use it a couple days running, you'll be jumpy, jangly, shaky and irritable next morning...until you do some more... ...welcome to dependency.
The equianalgesic dosage of 2mg levorphanol taken by mouth is about 15mg of hydrocodone. So, levorphanol is about 8 times more potent than hydrocodone by weight.
5mg,10mg,15mg,20mg,30mg
10mg of Hydrocodone is stronger than 7mg, although i must say there is currently NO pill that is prescribed that is 7mg. Hydrocodone is prescribed in the following dosages: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5m and 10mg. It is possible to get a higher dosage "specially formulated" 15mg dosage Hydrocodone capsule if your doctor so orders it on the Rx and you can find a Pharmacy that will compound it. But, these are rarely if ever seen and are the exception, not the rule of what you will be prescribed. Remember 10mg is the highest dosage pill you can possibly be prescribed that is formulated by a large mfg. company. NOTE: there is NO such thing as a "500mg" or "750mg" Hydrocodone or Vicodin tablet... that large number refers to the Acetaminophen (Tylenol) content that is co-formulated with the tablet. You want the lowest of the LARGE numbers which usually appear on the Rx bottle. (EXAMPLE: 10/325mg Hydrocodone is: 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg Tylenol.) Hope this helps! I am NOT a doctor, so ask your doctor if you are still confused.
Yes. I have been taking 10mg of Brintellix and 15mg of Ambien for almost 2 months with no problems.
10mg is the strongest retail dose available at the moment although it can be compounded in a 15mg dose by a pharmacist on a doctor's special Rx order. The 15mg specially compounded dosage is very rare and almost never prescribed as the 10mg dose is usually just dosed at a closer interval to prevent "breakthrough pain". The highest dose that is recommended is 60mg of Hydrocodone in a 24hour period. This is the general rule. Recently the DEA and local law enforcement have "persuaded" (intimidated) doctor's in many U.S. states to prescribe no more than 4 tablets of ANY strength of hydrocodone a day. So for a chronic pain patient with moderate pain, it is common to receive a Rx for 120 hydrocodone tablets of whichever strength (5mg,7.5mg or 10mg is appropriate for the pain. This leaves us with a maximum daily dosage of 40mg (4 x 10mg tabs) for a patient in moderate pain. If the pain worsens the doctor most likely will not give the maximum allowed by law because of fear of being labeled an "OVERPRESCRIBER" and will move the patient up to one of the "STRONG" opioid painkiller such as Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Oxymorphone, Fentanyl, or Morphine. But in most cases the patient is given a non-narcotic to boost the hydrocodone instead of moving the patient up to the stronger drugs, even if they are appropriate for the pain.
i assume you mean mg. if 2=10, 3 have to equal 15mg
Unless you are allergic to it I am going to say no, although I am not a doctor. However, I was once prescribed more then that after a surgery.
They are both opiates, but Lortab has Tylenol in it and roxicodone does not. Lortab contains hydrocodone and roxi contains oxycodone. Oxycodone is aprox. 1.5-2 times stronger then hydrocodone.
Answer: No, it does not. Only 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg, 20mg, and 30mg exists for Adderall. But sometimes if necessary doctors will prescribe you 30mg and 10mg bottles at the same time, but 40mg is pretty high, so it happens not too often. hope this helps.*****
Orally, 10mg of oxycodone is considered equivalent to 15mg or morphine sulfate but everyone is different. Oxycodone isn't usually used medically by injection so a conversion is unavailable. 5mg morphine by injection is equal to about 15mg of oral morphine. 5mg morphine is probably about equal to 5mg oxycodone by injection. So orally, oxy. is stronger!
.15mg equals 150mcg
forget it
