Allow me to rephrase that;
You want to marry a boy whose parents oppose your marriage because your poor and he agrees with them.
It's not right. The man has to provide for the family, so it shouldn't matter if your poor or not. Also, the parents should have no say in his decision. And finally, his decision shows he cares more about his parents than you. He doesn't realize he has to make a family of his own one day and that does NOT involve his parents.
