To answer your question literally, don't eat anything at all until you lose 10 pounds. You will likely be in the hospital at this point, but it will be the fastest, besides just carving 10 pounds off of your body somewhere. I assume you mean healthily, in which case you need to eat properly and exercise regularly. Cut down on carbohydrates and any food that does not offer nutrition to your body.
  • Cardio exercise a lot and eat healthy. That's really all there is to it.

Trying to lose ten pounds of weight this fast would mean that you would lose mostly water and muscle. When you come off of this type of dieting, the weight and muscle come back and sometimes more than you lost. The best way to lose weight is gradually so that you target the fat and not the water or muscle.

well guy, the quickest way, which even I too am searching to reduce weight in a shorter period could be only, running for 3 Kms per day..[ may be every evening] not a heavy diet..[ be on lighter ones] do excercises.. If u follow the above tips,I am dame sure guy, U have put down your weight.. Try ... Good Luck..!!!

I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks by detoxifying my body. That means I didn't eat anything. It's just like fasting. You can only drink liquid and I don't mean soda, coffee, tea, juice, etc. Maybe plain water (that's what I used). It's hard the first couple of days but your body will get used to it. It works because your body works on food and when there is no food in you system, your body can only feed on fat cells. But if you begin to get dizzy grab a banana or something healthy. Another answer I don't think that's healthy.... you should just try working out maybe you have some old workout videos that are fun and then maybe run for 20 min. If you try hard you can lose that weight. Like I'm trying very hard to lose 20 pounds in 2 months or less. Don't starve yourself its not good for you. Go two your doctor and ask them what they think and drink plenty of water and do lots of exercise maybe get an exercise to help you lose some pounds. Eat, but only eat healthy foods only have 1 chocolate bar a week and nice treats at weekends. I'm 88 pounds and I need to lose 10 punds too. So I'm going to try asking my doctor to help me.

In order to lose 10 pounds total, you need to burn 35,000 calories. This can be accomplished through a combination of healthy eating and exercise. The greater the calorie deficiency, the faster the weight will come off. Rapid weight loss is not considered healthy.

I've experimented around with many different methods and this is what worked best for me, as far as loosing weight wit speed: Boosting your metabolism! One can shed quick pounds in about two weeks if they: drink 8 or more glasses of water each day to help get rid of water weight ( you will pee a lot at first but once your body get acclimated this will stop happening and your body will stop feeling the need to retain water). *Eat for two week, NO starches, NO sugars, and eat high fiber foods, like nuts, in small but frequent portions (eat a little about every four hours).

  • Drink four cups of green tea every day through out the day.
  • Consume a teaspoon of red chilies some how every day, (add chilies to various dishes). *When you eat a meal let most of it be some kind of dark colorful vegetable and also eat about a hand size proportion of protein with each meal (helps to build muscle which burns more fat).
  • Exercise in 20 to 30 min spurts through out the day, aerobics is key for fat burning.
  • Take a few days aside to lift weights.
  • Exercise right after a meal (your metabolism gets higher right after eating so you end up burning more calories if you--say--take a long walk right after a meal).
  • Taking long walks each day helps trim the waist line.
  • Include good fats, like omega 3s, take a liquid form of B vitamins, take vitamin c through out the day, and take it in liquid form. Take calcium and vitamin D also.
  • Include yoga in your exercise routine (it in creases the quality of your bodies blood flow, and increases the bodies oxygen intake which burns fat more efficiently).
  • Breath deeply through out the day.
  • To really increases weight loss (if you want to do this for a month instead of two weeks) after doing this for a month pig out and eat junk food for one day, still exercise on this day though--The next few day as you eat healthily again you'll notice extra pounds fly off, because the junk food load of that one day "shocks" the system, and kicks the metabolism up a hearty notch for a few days making your efforts on those following day more fruitful.

A reasonable loss rate is about 2-4 lbs/week, so 10 lbs/week is outside the range unless you get seriously ill or have Liposuction.
