i guess that it's pretty normal to get embarrassed of your parents in front of your friends when you're in your teenage years. (Even I used to be embarrassed.) but if you just learn to accept how cool your parents really are, then this feeling will eventually go away. You can even have a talk about it with your parents. This is what I would do, I would just act like you never embarrassed yourself. Talk normal, and relaxed. Show him your not tense around him and just go with the flow! If you still feel embarrassed, try doing that with your friends.
