You need to buy a "Digital to Analog audio converter" (around $70 with Gefen brand). It will convert the Digital output (Optical) into a analog signal for your speakers.
These converters rarely provide RCA cables(male/male) and Optical Cable(male/male). So you will have to buy them too.

Vizio doesn't make a E260MV model, but they do make a E260VA. They use a 10mm M4 screw (metric 4mm diameter, 10mm long). The VESA hole pattern is 100mm x 100mm.

A Samsung or Vizio LED television connected to the PS3 with an HDMI cable, and then connected with optical digital output to a Logitech Z906 THX surround sound speaker system.

Using a red and white pair of RCA cables (left and right audio) I was able to hook up the audio out on the back of my Vizio HDTV to the left and right audio in on my Durabrand HT-3917. If you are behind the TV facing it's back, the plugs I used were found on the far right end of the input/output plugs. It may be different on YOUR Vizio TV, so just read the labeling and look for the right ones for your needs.
There is an output jack labeled SPDIF (optical audio output). You can do one of two things: (1) purchase digital headphones with receiver/charging base that will be directly compatible, or (2) purchase a digital-to-analog converter that will convert the optical audio signal to an analog RCA jack, into which you then plug any standard headphones set. A third possiblity is if you are using a Roku box or other streaming device; the Roku devices all come with an RCA jack that will work with almost all headphones.

I went to Vizio's site (http://www.vizio.com/products/) and quickly compared the two. I quickly noticed the VX37 has more various input and output ports than the VW37. There may be more differences, but those were the first ones I looked at.
