What is a quasi vegetarian?

Quasi-vegetarians do not eat red-meat products. Some of them pursue pescetarianism, which allows fish and seafood into an otherwise vegetarian diet. Pollotarians eat poultry, while pesce-pollotarians eat seafood and poultry products.

How long does it take for a vegetarian to lose tolerance for meat?

It depends on how long they were vegetarian. If a person has been vegetarian for only a few months, they should easily be able to begin eating meat again. If a person has been vegan or vegetarian for at least a year, they should begin to incorporate meat into their diet slowly. This can begin with incorporating dairy products and eggs, then mild fishes, followed by turkey and chicken and then pork and red meat. Suddenly eating meat after a long span of time meat-free can cause stomach and intestinal distress.

Do they have any vegetarian food specialities in Turkey?

I love to eat Tofurkey lunch meat sandwiches. they sell the fake lunch meat at regular grocery stores from time to time, but it is easier to find them at a trader joe's or whole foods.

Is a vegetarian diet healthy when pregnant?

If you have been a vegetarian for a long time and know what you should be eating then maintaining this diet through pregnancy is fine. If however you usually eat meat and have decided that a vegetarian diet is healthier then don't do it as you will not know how to eat healthily in terms of protein etc.

A person who is partially vegetarian is someone who still eats some meats. The most common form of this is a person who gives up meat most of the time, but will still eat it in occasion, or a person who totally gives up red meat but still eats white meat, pork, and fish. Next is a pescatarian, which is a person who does nit eat any meat except for fish. Some will be ova- or lacto- vegetarian, too. Can vegetarian people become a chef?

If they want to they can as long as they dont mind cooking the meat. if they have a problem cooking it then it will be harder for them to become one.Another answer:Anyone can become a chef if they truly desire to become one. It doen't really matter if the person is a vegetarian or not. As the above answer states, if the vegetarian has a problem actually preparing/cooking meat products, they may have a slightly harder time, but the culinary school they attend may have special accomodations for people who have a problem handling meat products.

What is the difference between strict vegetarian and partial vegetarian?

Partial vegetarian is a person who is, by title, vegetarian, but still enjoys meat products. Usually such people avoid meat on bone and fish, but have no problem eating it when concealed, like in McDonald's or in some other kind of dish.Occasional vegetarian is a person who is vegetarian sometimes and sometimes not. Usually they would refrain from meat for a few months (usually due to a diet) and then eat again when the vegy time is over.I am a vegetarian. Although I'm not partial or occasional, I eat fish as a substitute for meat. I have been a vegetarian since birth and plan to keep it that way.you cant be amlost or partial veggie , its either i do eat meat or i dont , and instead of eating fish you should just eat soy bugers and soy meat, but if you even have the least craving of meat then your be a veggie for the wrong reason . be a veggie and a vegan , watch peta2 videos .

Should you let your 11 year old be a vegetarian?

I suppose that 11 is an old enough age to be making decisions like that. If they want to become a vegetarian for the first time, their bodies will be used to getting the amount of protein and energy we get from meat and fish. I would suggest that they first become a pescetarian (still eating fish but no meat) so that they still get the protein they need from the fish, but can cut down on eating meat. Hope this helps :)

How does a person plan a vegetarian diet?

Planning any kind of diet can be difficult and time consuming. To plan a vegetarian diet you could use your normal recipes and substitute meat and fish with soy products, you could also seek the advice of health care professionals and simply search bookstores for great vegetarian recipe books.
