Advantage- On the species level, variation allows a population to maintain a healthy diversity, allowing it to cope with changing circumstances.Disadvantage- On the individual level, variation may lead to detrimental changes as well as neutral and beneficial changes.
Yes, evolutionary theory explains how new species emerge from existing species.

depends on whether it's hen or a rooster! ---- Roosters do not lay eggs, or give birth for that matter. The only species in which the male of that species gives birth is the seahorse.
Well, they don't. Not all species emerge synchronosly, in fact I think your thinking of mayflies. Whatever the species, it is always for two reasons - to avoid predation by overwhelming your predators and for sex. And I guess also for better gene distribution and offspring survivability (synchronised mating usually occurs before a synchronised hatching/birthing)
Species is a label that is attached to a group of reproductively linked, usually cohabitating organisms. New species emerge from existing species through a process called speciation, which is a result of evolution. For more information, see related questions below.
naturally occurring selective pressures favor new traits, humans create new environmental conditions
Yes. In fact, microevolution, or allelic variance, is the mechanism by which new species emerge. Such an emergence is part of what some people call macroevolution. In other words, microevolution is the mechanism by which macroevolution is produced.
The past tense of emerge is emerged.
As the time passed, the earth began changing it's climate and according to that all the species of animals changed themselves. It didn't happen because they ordered their body, but because of what they ate, drank and their breath.
