if the guy says, "hey your friend told me that you like me. do you?" just be like"yeah i do" it might (will) be embarrasing but it is worth it. if he is nice about it then that's good even if he doesnt like you back. if he starts being a jerk about it then just think that hey i like this jerk? not anymore.
if he avoids you just go up to him and start a normal conversation and pretend that nothing happened.
if he says he likes you too, then ask him to go to a movie
