Usually women do this when they just want power over a guy. She doesn't love you, she is using you. She feels that she has you at her beck and call because if her current relationship fails, then you will be there to catch her so she wont be alone.
Loneliness is usually the cause for women to do this, they feel that no one understands them so they build up lies and play games to spin a web of hate and jealousy so they aren't alone. However, you can break free of her web if you simply ask her (and in front of her current boyfriend) if she truly loves you. Depending on her actions you will get the truth, and the spider will get caught in her own web.
