Women can be challenging at best and sometimes you just don't know what is going on in their wee minds (I know, I'm one of them! LOL) One thing about most women is it's not all about going together, being married, having children, but feelings. To be able to talk to your partner about ANYTHING without sex always being involved. To be able to cuddle without sex and just talk about interesting things between the two of you or about your hopes and dreams for the future. Sometimes the woman may be sad and not know why and all it takes is an arm around her shoulder and ask if you can do anything for her. Perhaps buying her a nice card that simple says 'I love you' or buying her some flowers (doesn't have to be expensive.) Trying to make her laugh when she's down or making her see that there isn't anything you both can't beat in this world if you stick together. This is a tall order for young men! It takes practice and wisdom. There is a movie I hope you will rent and it's an old one called, "The Scent of Woman." Al Pacino is in it and he's blind, but my, does he know women and how to treat them! I have met many lovely men in my lifetime and I'm married to one so it's possible men can show their emotions (they do have them) and cut loose. Yes, I think you should go after this young woman. Apologize, tell her you love her and you sure didn't mean to mess up. Tell her you love her enough to really make another go of it, but you both have to do it together. Bringing flowers wouldn't hurt! Be yourself, NEVER be afraid to show her your emotional side. Men in the past have been brainwashed into thinking they shouldn't express deep emotions or cry and that's one load of garbage. Men hurt, feel loss, get frustrated and frightened and a great man isn't afraid to admit it or show it!
