There are several possibilities and the best is that she really isn't concerned about presents. That does not mean that you should not be concerned.
I would suggest that instead of getting her something, you get her a memory that she will have and enjoy.
Maybe it's not for you, but as an example you could take her to an art museum and buy her a small charm or charm bracelet from the museum.
If you stay together then you have something (the charm bracelet) you gave her and you can always buy another charm for any celebration the two of you have.
