I'm not sure it is a signal of cheating, but I would be quite curious as to who is calling that he is not comfortable talking to while you are around.
It could be something that he thinks you will think is silly so he doesn't talk to them around you, but of course there is always the chance it is something more serious.
See if you can find out who it is that is calling that he is ignoring.

∙ 16y agoUnless an actual emergency has occurred , it's indicative of passively breaking up--he figures if he stops calling you'll get the message and he won't have to deal with your questions and hurt over a break up. Just don't put your life on hold by waiting near the phone; get out with your friends and have fun.
If you've left messages for him that he hasn't returned you've done all you can.
If you haven't called him yet, call him in 5-7 days and just say you were wondering how he was doing.. Then stop contacting him; put the ball in his court. If he doesn't contact you within another week or gives excuses why he can't call or go out he's not worth your time and you should move on. Don't dwell on flakes!
