Very little. By this time, tests should be picking up hcg quite easily. I'd pay a visit to the doctor to discuss it, especially if you can see no other reason for a late period such as stress, new medication or similar.

My wife had a positive pregnancy test Then two weeks later we took another It was negative Then another negative Now she hasn't had her period for three months?

I'd suspect that she's actually pregnate and tat the negative readings were false.

If home pregnancy test negative can you still be pregnant and get your period?

No you can't be pregnant and still have your period. You can have a light bleed but not a period. As for the whole negative test thing, it could be a false negative.

Can you get a false negative result from home pregnancy test?

heck yes you can. i just found out i am three months pregnant after taking three false negatives and then finally going to the doctor because i hasn't had my period for three months. and they told me i was pregnant. so yeah it i s possible. very much so.

You took a pregnancy test and it came out positive you are also almost 2 months late on your period is this a phantom pregnancy?

If your pregnancy test is positive then most likely you are. You would be more likely to get a false negative rather than a false positive. If you are unsure, you can request a beta HCG test from your doctor. This will measure the HCG hormone in your blood system which is an indicator of pregnancy. The pregnancy test is positive and you haven't had a period in two months. I see nothing to indicate that this is a 'phantom' pregnancy other than maybe wishful thinking. I've been told that the home test kits may give a false negative, but that they never indicate a false positive.

When a male takes a urethra an swab test at the same time for chlamydia can both tests be false negative If so what is the percentage?

An estimate, from both tests showing negative, is less than a 2% chance you actually have the infection. The male urethral swab has a false negative rate of 15-20%. The rate of a false negative for the urine test has a false negative rate of 3-5.5%. So the chances of both being false negative, if they were done on separate days, is somewhere between 0.6% and 1.1%. If you had them done one right after the other on the same day, the risk of a false negative result goes up, as they couldn't have been done according to instructions.

Art criticism is usually negative?

False!! is not usually negative.

You have been on mini pill for 5years but havent had the pill for 9 days and you did have un protective sex you have not had a sign of a period but text say negative?

The testers are not perfect. You can get a false negative or a false positive. See your doctor to get a correct diagnosis.

Can narcotics give you a false negative pregnancy test?

No. I was wondering the same thing and did research on it. My period is two and a half months late and urine and blood negative. I am sitting in dr. Office right now...trying to figure out what's up. I read if pregnancy hormone is high in system due to twins, the tests could come back negative.

Why are you not having a period in 5 months?

If you got it once and not again for 5 months, it was a false alarm or your pregnant. If you haven't even started, JUST WAIT YOU NIMNOM!

If you had a negative chlamydia test three months before a positive test does this mean you contracted it within those three months?

There are a few possible explanations. The most likely is that you contracted chlamydia within those three months. Another possibility is that you got the first test so soon after infection that it could not yet be detected. A false negative or false positive test is another possible explanation.
