My rabbit had this problem but is living well with its house friend and fit and healthy living on a certain medicine from the vets.
When i found my rabbit sneezing and sort of sniffing I thought I need to take him to the vets so I did and they said that I really did need to take him to the vets and they were glad I did, but they said it was something my rabbit had to live with.

∙ 13y agoWhy can't you bring him to the vet? It will live longer if you bring it to the vet and heal him. With the snuffles, it will probably live 1-2 more suffering years.

Sounds like snuffles to me. You need to get the rabbit to a vet.You rabbit has an infection, called "snuffles" or "sniffles". It's most likely caused by Pasteurella. You should seek veterinary treatment immediately, because your rabbit needs antibiotics to cure its infection.Please note: You should be extremely careful what antibiotics your vet prescribes, because drugs in the -cillin family (Amoxicillin, Ampicillin) are toxic to rabbits. Your vet will probably want to prescribe Baytril or another rabbit-safe antibiotic for treatement.
